Self-tanner as THE solution?
Self-tanner and/or spray tanning is the future for a responsible healthy tan! More and more people are aware of the dangers of excessive or incorrect sunbathing and sunbed use.
Estimates based on various studies indicate that 1 in 5 people will develop some form of skin cancer during their lifetime.
Removal of skin cancer and the follow-up treatment can be painful and often leaves ugly scars and that is in a positive case! Despite these dangers, the demand for a tan remains.
is self-tanner the solution? Absolute! It's a healthy way to get a beautiful tan in just minutes.
Advantages
Self-tanner and Spray Tanning have many advantages compared to the sun and/or tanning bed:
- no accelerated skin aging;
- no increased risk of skin cancer;
- no damage to the skin;
- no drying of the skin;
- solution for people with a sun allergy;
- no pigmentation;
- no burning of the skin.
But be careful what you put on your skin! Many self-tanners and spray tans are ALSO extremely bad for your skin. Not just chemicals like dyes that one might need to be concerned about. With spray form you will inhale unnecessary (chemical) dyes. And in greasiness, it can block your pores. Additions of high concentrations of synthetic alcohol to help the tan dry more quickly can cause the skin to dry out and accelerate the aging process of the skin.
So always read the ingredients on the packaging. Have chemical dyes been added? Is alcohol high on the INCI list? And perfume, synthetic or natural? What does all this do for your skin and health?
